Hello, my name is Jay Bowen.

I grew up in Zululand, South Africa and was lucky enough to travel extensively through South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Botswana.

While studying at University I started as a radio host at a local radio station at an abysmal hour. I realized I not only loved the music, but all that came along with it. Working with live acts and DJ’s, organizing music festivals and working with brands to promote them on air. Through my time on radio I ended up as the Head of Music, running our media library and working with some of the largest acts and labels in South Africa, and because of this, music continues to be a big part of my passion today.

My journey into digital marketing started while living in the UK, and I was privileged to work on some of the largest travel and leisure brands doing some award winning campaigns. I continued this journey over to the US and have not only grown my experience but also now have a wide range of strategic marketing, agency and PR experience across hospitality, travel, lifestyle and tech brands.

I have worked on large campaigns and strategies in the B2B and B2C space while working closely with a investors, leadership teams and engineers. You can see some the brands I have worked on here.

When I am not working or traveling I enjoy mixing vintage EDM vinyl on my turntables, teaching my children how to code and build in the metaverse and I am the only person I know that can run an industrial size daiquiri slushy machine.
